Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and many brigands want him driven away

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Heward has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heward fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
