Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: A 6'3" eastern man, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: This malnourished man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Rolf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To protect his home; and to clean up the streets

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a blue vest and prefers grey and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
