Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by giants. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and revenge

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His head has been shaved. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Personality: Arnold is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Arnold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Alex will drive conversation. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
