History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Miles speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born in a small desert village. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barrister.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His childhood dream was to be a Mortician, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Baker for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Herbalist profession.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rolf studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content
