History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
