History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Roger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.
