Description: An older man who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His tied-back hair is golden. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is wearing a long, green cloak. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a brown shirt, with a red mid length shorts with red tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is typically in his Laborer uniform. His white hair is thinning but still full. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
