Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carpenter.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears bulky white painted plate armor, and is pretty ugly. He wears his golden hair up. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He has worked as a Courier like his father before him.
