History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Kody was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Kody's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He now mingles about in high society.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
