History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Mason, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born in the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire.
