History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull yellow iron scale mail. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He tends to his Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the north. William was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ruler. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to pay off his debts
