Patrick Brandon, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This tall, slender man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His white hair is knotted and matted. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Slave Trader business.
History: Patrick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
Ideals: Persistence. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical. Bonds: Poor, Adventurer. Occupation: Slave Trader
Voice: Scottish accent

Trym Hale, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has moderate length black hair. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.
Personality: Trym wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Trym is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found
Ideals: Athletic, Disciplined, Gifted. Bonds: Family. Occupation: Mason
