History: He was born in the east. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is greedy

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
