History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now owns his own business.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: Hubert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Dean wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
