Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Balimaar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Armorer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and many brigands want him driven away
