History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and sabotage a competitor
