History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. During his travels, Anselm and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Anselm discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
