History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Miles's homeland. Miles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Jocelyn was born with his father's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Ernest was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
