History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
