Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

History: Dustin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Dustin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dustin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dustin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Simon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Simon was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shepherd. He now mingles about in high society.
