Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by drow. Gerard was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Laborer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
