Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Ralf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ralf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
