History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the north to a Tanner, Clerebold learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
