History: Jocelyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with his Fletcher father left him crippled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Barber. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Miles is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Clerebold has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
