Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kody fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
