His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Gardener, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Kyle's homeland. Kyle decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
