History: Rolf was born with his mother's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family.
