History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Gardener and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
