Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a black vest and prefers tan and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a Slave Trader first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the south to a Slave Trader, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Lance enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. This brown eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears tattered old clothes. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. Trym is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep white leather and dull blue iron scale mail. He carries with him a set of bows, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Thomas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was a Sailor, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
