Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his longsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. His ears are large.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Cory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and carries quarterstaffs. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. A true patriot, Frederick would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He has achieved small success as a Unemployed.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: This man tends to wear a large brown jacket, and sports empty pouches on his belt. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A true patriot, Gerard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Born in the north to a Sellsword, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Animal Trainer, but he got bored and became a Sellsword. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
