History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the south to a Ploughman, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He tends to his Ploughman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Conrad took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
