History: He was raised in a desert tribe. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Gerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Gerald reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
