History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
