History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his mother's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
