His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Actor, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has a very tight haircut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
