History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is wracked by social anxiety
