He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears suspenders and violet workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy violet leather apron most of the time, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Lewis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
