History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He struck the Brewer job and began his own company from there.

Description: 5'4" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length white hair. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: Shane hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
