Gerald Kent, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This man is very fat, and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He uses divination through singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has worked as a Banker like his mother before him.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Gilbert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. Miles Willoughby, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
