His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Patrick was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Alexandre was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Layabout but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Lance's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
