History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Richard has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He became a Painter soon after.
