Gilbert Melancon, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is dressed in an above average manner. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
