History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Alex liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
