History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Odo's homeland. Odo decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Odo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
