History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At a young age his mother died while driving off some orcs. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in quarterstaff use. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
