History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has worked as a Unemployed like his mother before him.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 37. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Guy was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. During his travels, Balimaar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Balimaar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Balimaar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
