History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born to a Actor, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
