History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
