He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Adelard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
