History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the north to a Server, Manfred learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Chad was born with his mother's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
